Thornstone - Sussa Igloo

Greenlandic rock band from Ilulissat. First music video attempt synched with unedited and unmastered soundtracks. The song is the only song from the upcoming album ´Been a Fighter´ that has greenlandic lyrics, whereas the rest of the album is in english. The video is a low-budget production (if not no budget at all) and is shot with a dv-camcorder. The story of the video is created by Kuno Hammond and Gunberg Lange. The green-screen was a pain in the ass but it came along nicely in the end. The director of the video, Gunberg Lange, insisted on low lighting and grainy distortion of the images because he wanted to portray what he wanted instead of what he couldn´t get. This caused the video to be honest and open about our material and financial lackings yet not compromising the artistic creativity.
