This is a good video, Harold. I love how it's edited, love the message. The music is wonderful too. You write well and you have good vision. Suze

I live in East Tennessee, as you drive through the tunnel into Middlesboro, Ky you can see the mountains removal, it is very sad indeed.

Great vid. Sad vid. Too many examples of what happens when a place is deforested or a landscaped modified to suit somebody else's design to not know better now! But greed always seems to win out. We've noticed here all it takes ia a new turn lane, & suddenly you have a street that floods (& that's just a small scale example)

Great job, Harold! I remember the PowerPoint you helped Toby do a few years back, and this is even better! Rock on!

Thanks, Harold, Carol, and everyone else who's helped with this video and music. I posted the video in my blog here:

Very sad yet pretty. But what is the answer? People keep having children, keep populating Earth, more and more people.... "we respond to the people's demand" is a line in the song. What truly is the answer? Growth = chance at prosperity, but at what cost? What are we doing to this beautiful earth for the sake of commerce, jobs and food on our tables...
I wish everyone would quit having so many children. That would be a start.

@jojoyourjoy I agree that slowing down the population boom would be a good start. And I like the fact that you brought up the "at what cost?" question. I feel that alternative energies would be the ultimate answer. The coal industry reps claim that they are providing valuable flat land for growth and industry. Do we need another huge box store or factory that will continue to siphon the resources from this beautiful land? What about a solar farm where the mountaintop was? Just a thought.
