Salmon are a band hailing from Gilroy California - in the mid 90's, after winning a "Battle-of-the-Bands" contest at the now defunct & infamous Cactus Club (San Jose, CA) - they were signed to Red Ant Records. They've toured with and supported acts such as Papa Roach, KoRn, Snot, Deftones, Bad Brains, No Doubt among others. Here we have a "live" video for the song "Rubberhead" off of their debut CD "Paco...Drop the Chicken". Enjoy interviews with Mikey from SNOT, Chi from Deftones, Rusty from CRACK and many others who discuss why they love the band. This one will be special for those who used to live in the Cactus - hold back the tears as you witness footage from the SOFA Festival and extended scenes from inside the Club itself - R.I.P. Hell yea Iam so glad I found this on U-tube brings back the core essence of so many nights Down Town San Jo, This was a sound so tricky to pull off and when they really were on and did it right I could burst out of that fuckin sweaty ass club with watered down drinks and bathrooms that st-inked so bad you wondered why you just stood in line to go in the first place. I remember one night when that no talented hack lead singer from Pap Roach Cody almost pissed on my shoes!
