Aftermath of the large archway collapse on the 10/06/09 This is the very first video and possibly the only one taken on the day showing the muddy water and debri, I hereby re-name them Pauls Apostles after one of the first to to see them and the first to video them. :-)

    and it said it was over due

    so im guessing it's gone now and i just gota last photo of it :P

  • I was there only recently in May, during a short holiday in Victoria. It looks so different to what I videoed, now that the arch has collapsed.

    It appears as though most of the upper arch was composed of soft sand and soil, which are being washed away rapidly by the sea.

    And only a small amount of rock (probably sandstone/limestone) is left between the two columns. No doubt that material will be eroded very quickly by the sea, and then all traces of this arch will be gone forever !
