Why is it always the lz36/l9

very good, excellent work on the ship. I love the chain driven outrigger propellers, gives it some class a character. I hope and doubt that future airships will be built like that, elegant and flaunting their mechanicals, unlike these new sterile, ugly designs I see now.

Interesting juxtaposition of historical periods in your ship. The chain-drive outrigger props were done away with by 1913, before Zeppelin adopted the cruciform tail (Schutte-Lanz originated that). The command cabin is stylistically akin to a late 1917 height-climber.

I think true talent can take even the simplist of tools and create something extraordinary. Great work!

i'm impressed, it's simple but nice
Very good!
But how did you animate those spinning propellers in Zaxwerks? I know it allows you to import 3D models but how did you animate it like so?

the propellers where seperate objects animated in After Effects

nice!!! But dont use after effects for 3d animation, use maya 3ds or c4d.

Right - I use 3DS MAX for real 3D. This was just an experiment in pseudo-3D, where I imported a very high polygon count model using an AE plug-in that is really intended for fairly simple 3D title work.
