@MoreParksLessParking Right on the money. Most of Zakk's contemporaries can outplay him. Petrucci, Vai, Satch, Yngwie, Michael Romeo (and a bunch others I'm forgetting) are on a different level. Zakk "shreds" like a kid in a guitar store. No musicality, no actual technique, just speed. Not to mention, he completely ignores the jazz backing in this video. Yngwie does that, too, but he's on a whole other plane of skill and can make it sound good.

@rdhellraiserr All he's really doing is playing simple scales really fast...Anyone who's been playing for two years or so can do that. Go watch some John Petrucci videos. That should clear things up.

Anyone that says this guys sucks... can come suck my dick! Cause u wish u could play guitar like that...

@MoreParksLessParking I agree. If it wasn't for Zakk and Dimebag we wouldn't have the very technical boring D tuned shredding that we'd have today.
-
@MoreParksLessParking cool now go tell your story some where else please.

This guy is by far the nost boring and generic guitarist I have ever heard. Yes, he can play fast, but he is not creative, one bit. Yes. All the best guitarists fed off of the penatonic scale, but they used it in a way that was creative and wasn't just a bunch of fast shreds that are the same patterns over and over again. A snotty little punk teen living in a dirty neighborhood who just learned a couple power could probably put more soul into their music then this guy. zakk makes me hate music.
