  • Amazing but this appears to me be the audio from the original sound track? No doubt you are playing it but surely the audio is not coming from what you played. How do you get the different snare sounds throughout the track, like at 1:20? Just curious.

  • @ayetoday Hey, thanks for watching!

I mixed the audio from my kit probably a bit lower than I should have compared to the track, I've now realised having re-watched it!

I think I just wanted it to sit nicely in the track, rather than just overpowering drums. So what you're hearing is both the original and my drums, as I couldn't find a drumless version.

As a result the snare you hear alternately in that section is just the original snare sound spilling over.

  • Nice cover. Did you mute the sound from your module?

  • @flexpint Cheers! Yeah- to record I turned 'Local Control' off, and had the feed coming from Superior Drummer to my headphones, along with the track itself. Hope that answers the question!

  • Mate that an awsome cover getting my electric drum kit off santa in 2 more days have played before about ten years ago in school but went to see muse at old trafford in september and i feel its just somethin i must get back into...... again you looked flawless hopefully someday i will be able to do the same lol Merry Christmas :-)

  • @BAILED231180 hey, hope you've been playing the kit loads since Christmas! Muse were amazing, went to see them in wembley on the same tour. Dom's a fantastic player. Hope you have fun learning, it's such a fun instrument to play! Happy new year too, Joe
