Two St Mirren fans, me and my good mate Roy Lilley, pay homage to the late Bon Scott at the site of his statue in Fremantle, WA, about 30 kms South of Perth.

  • justtubein 1 !! You are more than welcome. I was on holiday and just having a laugh. It was a great day. Some people take YouTube postings far too seriously. It was a wee Nikon Coolpix camera I used so quite what POBulkhead was expecting is beyond me. Thanks again !!

  • Don't know when if at all I will get back to Fremantle but it was a happy day for me when I finally tracked down his statue.

  • Nice one.

The statue wasn't there when I was in Freo in 2007.

But I'm going back in early March so I'll go and have a look.

    Cheers.

  • Thanks Rockpig for looking in. When you are next in Fremantle, you need to ask for directions to Cicerellos chip shop down at the waterfront and the statue is right outside it. The trick is getting onto the right side of the railway line that runs past it. Do us a favor and if you do find it, make up a wee film and out it onto YouYube. All the best from Scotland!!

  • 3rd/final: Missed because they were so pissed! HAHAHA!!! Of course, they wanted to know who were FOR...in the big footy match between those 2 teams. Now, first of all...having EVERY SINGLE LOCAL...(in their local) UNABASHEDLY STARE at you....you don't say what I said: "Ummmm...can you say that in English?" Nearly had our heads lopped off. • Hey guys, thanks for the bit on Bon Scott's statue. Very nice to see someone took the time and effort to pay tribute to an excellent person by putting up a statue. Far more fitting than a star on a sidewalk...

  • Your camera sucks.
