I disagree with Steven A. I'm a Lakers fan, & I'm not desperate at all. We're not gonna win an NBA championship every year. Even if we don't win this year, who gives a shit. We've already got 16 championships, we were in the NBA finals from '08-10 & won 2 back to back. There's no reason for any Laker fan, to feel even remotely 'desperate'.

i don't think steven a, and a lot of you commentors, understood what the first guy was saying. the rockets already accepted a trade that would have given them Pau Gasol and in return they would have shipped out Scola, Martin, etc. the first guy was simply saying that, hey, since the chris paul trade fell through, can't we still ship pau to houston and just bring those guys over here instead of sending them to NO like the original trade? and then use those players a part of a bigger trade 4 Bynum
