Christchurch Tram: Trams from Cathedral Square through Christchurch City

Trams through the heart of Christchurch take you to see lots of sites in the heart of Christchurch. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but fun to ride on the restored trolleys and take the tram all around.

Pick up the tram in Cathedral Plaza, which is also where you buy the tickets.

So sad to see many of those historic gothic structures are now destroyed. You are fortunate to have seen them before the quake.

@knarfmo We absolutely see ourselves as fortunate. it was a great plaza and trip, and I'm sure the Kiwi ingenuity will re-build lots of the destroyed buildings in Christchurch. Sad that this is more like a memorial video now though.

@WDgallagher We got them from the Arrival Magazine which we picked up in central Auckland. But there's a visitor center there right at the square in Christchurch which should also have an A-Z guide for Christchurch, and I think there's a coupon in that one.
