If you want to help babies with this disease, go to firstskinfoundation org and donate.

no there is no sound which is a bummer.
-
@RotisserieiJamie thats why i said the very rare do survive but in extreme pain .......
the medical field has advanced alot in the past decade or more now so yes i would believe there would b more survivors.... just..... how can any mother want to keep the little angel in such a horrible state for so long? really is baffling how people try to hold onto something so precious just for their own benefit of feeling good. how selfish really!

Someone please answer this.
Is this baby alive? Did this child survive? Also, what is this guy saying? Do they know the baby has a skin disease?
Is there any sound or is it just me?
-
@Demoness82 , it use to always fatal if children were born with this disease but with the medical care these days. The babies live. There are survivors of this disease.

god bless this baby i hope she is doing well..
This little baby it's not a snake baby. She has a rare illnes, harlequin ichtyosis.

This was NOT because the mother attempted an abortion. How ignorant to say such a thing. This is a skin disease called Harlequin ichthyosis thickening of the keratin layer in fetal human skin. In sufferers of the disease, the skin contains massive, diamond-shaped scales, and tends to give off a reddish color and bulging red eyes. It is horrible and painful.
