Lakewood Car to Car Shooting -- February 19, 2009

Gunfire echoed through a quiet Lakewood neighborhood Thursday afternoon when the driver of a late model Honda was shot by suspects in another vehicle. According to witnesses on scene the victim was shot in the shoulder and in the neck. Four bullet holes were visible in the Honda. A neighbors stated that he heard 6 shots. The victim was in his car on Obispo when he was shot. The victims car continued through the intersection where it collided with a third vehicle. The suspects fled the scene and are still at large.
