  • 1. When your trail leg hits the ground it has to be under your COM(center of mass) your foot is too far ahead.

    2."Hurdle drill #1" - Your arm is swinging way too much, which decreases momentum.

    3."trail leg" Not attacking the hurdle

    4."Over the middle"- Your hang time time is way to long, your trail leg stays in the air too long.

    I've been a hurdle coach for over 10 years, you need a bit more practice going over the hurdle.

  • good description and video but i would have to agree with the other about your trail leg it is to slow and stays in the air to long

  • not trying to be a prick, but please dont post videos if you dont do the event right, Im a decathlete i specialize in hurdles high jump and the sprints...just because i know the basics of throwing and pole vaulting doesnt mean that i am suitable to teach the event

  • i'm a first year hurdler. i've never done a skips b skips and c skips ever. i can run them in 9.85. so you don't need to know this. but yes, it is very helpfull. ty
