This sounds like a live recording, not a demo.

@northernmuse9 Well you can find real singers and players today, just like there was tons of plastic autocrap manufactured in corporate studios by mediocre talent back in the days of Fleetwood Mac ;)
-
@brinpol and harmonyhead I haven't studied this in comparison to the version on the live album, but I'd guess that it was recorded live (not in a studio) simply because of the feedback. I'm just amazed there's so much of this stuff out there that folks can get their hands on--it's great! Far more interesting to hear stuff being worked out by real singers & players, instead of plastic autocrap manufactured in corporate studios by mediocre talent.

@harmonyhead yeah, I listened to them both and still think they are different lol
-
@brinpol having studied both pretty thoroughly, particularly the odd placement of cymbal crashes etc) i think it is the same music track with different vocals. (this version is sped up a little too). But it's ok.. we can disagree...
-
@harmonyhead It sounds very different. The music, not just the vocals. I think it is what it is, a demo...
-
@brinpol This is the same music track as the released live version on the live album, with re-recorded vocals..
-
@harmonyhead There is no finished album version, there was only a live version, I think...unless it was released on some "Best of" or "Greatest Hits" album, there is no studio version...

So cool!!! Awesome song!!!!
This is why I like demo's, you see where they came from. Not just the polished perfect version that get's released.

You have never heard Stevie sing off key, miss a beat, or miss some words while rehearsing or sound checking or making a demo, etc.? For real? Then you haven't listened. Stevie is wonderfully perfect in that she doesn't claim to be perfect. Gotta love her!
