His fangs didn't come out because it isn't about sex with Sookie...when vampires experience sexual or blood lust their fangs usually come it but this goes way beyond lust for Eric.

Yes, that's right, is quite unique, Alexanders way to convey genuine emotion, desire, pure sex or all at once, which I prefer, just sizzles!
He's kissed at least Sookie, The Queen, Talbot as Eric, Lady Gaga as her "boyfriend" and god knows how many lucky others, as an actor. As far as I've gotten to see....(embarrasing) he is just as good every time, it's like he's making out with his private fantasy girl.
