Are the shrill, strident declarations of Sarah Palin really what you want to hear coming into your living rooms day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year??

Do you really want the unnerving voice of Sarah Palin permeating the quiet sanctity of your home over the next four years?

Think about it. What if John McCain were to win the Presidency, then suddenly develop yet another case of melanoma and pass away shortly after the Inauguration?

Do you really want to take a chance on what many people regard as a lying, loud mouthed, extreme, and vindictive incarnation of "arrogance gone wild" to be in charge of your economy, education, health care, and nuclear arsenal for the next three or four years???

Listen carefully to Palin's passionate, harsh and frequently uneven intonation. Also, while listening to that piercing nasal pitch, take a moment to reflect on where you may have last heard such a thing...

...perhaps from the frowning, finger-wagging tyrant-teacher who was always subjecting innocent kids to angry reprimands for "being disrespectful" and/ or lecturing them on "Christian values," and/or subjecting them to condescending put-downs.

Then ask yourself if this is consistent with the demeanour of a global leader--someone who other presidents, prime ministers, and heads of state would want to chat with--someone who would earn and keep their respect from the very first meeting.

If you can honestly say that Sarah Palin is that someone, then you're either deaf, very stupid, or very, very corrupt.

I've noticed lately that her handlers are now trying to electronically manipulate her voice so it doesn't sound so harsh. All they've done is make her sound more like she's yelling at us from inside a toilet bowl!

As for her and the economy, I read somewhere (and it wasn't bullshit) that her business was shut down because she hadn't done her accounts and tax was overdue by a year.
