  • "in Liberty, what happened to Russel Means" he got a voice part in a big film...

  • libertarians (at least the limited government ones) believe that the government does have a role in punishing murder. The anarcho-capitalists simply believe murder is wrong and that private defense agencies or "private government" (rather than a state) would take care of this, but they still are against murder.

I'm with Walter Block on the abortion issue. I believe you can have eviction, but it should be in the gentlest way possible, which means sometimes you can evict the baby without killing it

  • Mary Ruwart 2010 and 2012!!!!!!!!

  • Playing politics is a waste of time and energy. Those who vote are those with the strongest faith in the system. Far better to focus on those who already shun the system: black and grey marketeers and those who engage in civil disobedience. You cannot promote the abolition of the political means by using the political means; it's absurd. The cruel joke that is the modern LP should be proof enough of that.

    Want liberty? Try agorism.

  • Ruwart believes consistently in liberty. That's why she is principled. "Best" is subjective and ambiguous; why don't you explain why you think Gravel is the "best"? I don't think Gravel is completely consistent in his ideologies. For example, he claims to believe in liberty, but is for the "fair" tax. He also thinks that liberty can be achieved by creating more laws. Explain to me how that can be considered principled.

  • She's by FAR one of the most principled person in the Libertarian party.

  • the idea is to get goverment out of it and let everyone decide on their own. Goverment has no right recognizing any marriage, same with abortion. Libertarians want much more local legislation, so you can move wherever suits your lifestyle, and no one can bitch.
