AHAHAHA hello from Latvia. look at the funny car. It beat bike easy. we hear that bike riding people boast about their bikes but here for us to see is that cars are clearly faster than all bikes.

2:19! Awesome!

Although i agree that cars at top speed can beat bikes AND into the corners car have far better braking (four wheels will always beat two wheels at braking) but you have pitched a fast car thats designed for racing against a mediocre hypermotard... its not even a fully fledged "racing" bike its designed for on AND off road, try again vs a sports bike i think the outcome will be different.

@joe10toes quite true, nothing beats f1 because it has downforce. F1 on brakes is where it really is impressive. Normal car, not a chance.

@MrJRG97 I know right? Man those dudes were gunnin it

@samr500 I tend to agree. Watch any track video of a supermoto and they outhandle superbikes. This is mainly due to their lightweight. This bike was also designed for alpine roads as well. Physics are in favour of 4 wheels making cars always potentially quicker. Motorcycles only have a weight advantage which is equates to good acceleration but because bikes have poor aerodynamics their upper speed and post 100mph acceleration is comprimised.

@Attilauk a sports bike wouldn't be able to corner as quick as a supermoto, the R500 would have left a sports bike the supermoto is much more capable in these type of bends due to the better steering.. my friends cannot keep up with me on my husqvarna down country bends whilst on their gsxr and R6

2:18 Holy Shit.

What a lame video, pitting a really fast car against a relatively slow bike? Nice comparison, a decent 600 supersports bike would have been a far better comparison.

Why go all technical "cycle speed" blah de blah de blah.A grand prix car is an ultimate and so is a gp bike........if they started side by side at sapang the bike would be lapped every six laps !!

@speedcrazy94 Cornering speed is not a function of power to weight. It is the limit of total traction, the more traction, the more lateral G. Lateral force is proportional to the speed and inversely proportional to the circle diameter.
So more traction means you can acheive either: a tighter turning circle at the same speed, or a higher speed through the same circle. Cars have about 8-10 times the total rubber on the road, so can come in hotter and exit faster from corners regardless of weight
