21 Pa. Priests Named in Sex Report Are Suspended

The Philadelphia archdiocese has suspended 21 Roman Catholic priests who were named as child molestation suspects in a recent grand jury report. (March 8)

Isnt sexual abuse illegal in the US? Why is there not a criminal investigation?... oh, yea these are white people with a strong religious lobby. A black person smoking a joint would do more time than these whities.

Imagine we discovered this was a business (say Walmart or Starbucks or IBM or Microsoft or Exxon) and they were raping children. Imagine if dozens of employees of this business in countries around the world were caught raping children. We wouldn't just imprison the rapists, we'd burn their business down! Why does the church get a free pass. It's immoral to the core.

It's about time this came to light in Philly. One of my best friends committed suicide partly due to this abuse. Many boys / grown men live in terrible pain, when will priests & church stop this?! They must be in denial of the consequences. The church OWES these guys BIGTIME! Sadly i know guys who could have benefitted by the church reparations here in Boston, but couldnt bear the pain of reliving details in court.

Just keep moving them to another parish, they wont do it again-NOT!!! I WAS a catholic. I went to catholic school and I am truly disgusted with the catholuic church. I am embarrassed to say I am a Catholic. The church has thousands of priests that are rapists, a management team of bishops and popes that ignore the children that the priests have raped and hide the pedophiles.

What exactly does it take for Catholics to cause an uprising?
