Robert Corrigan has served as President of San Francisco State University since September 1988.
He has led the campus community with courage, consistently taking moral stances to ensure a safe and rich educational environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
He has a strong record of challenging serious anti-Semitism and anti-Israel activity on campus while fostering positive inter-group dialogue.
Under Robert Corrigans leadership, and in partnership with the Richard and Rhoda Goldman Fund, a major contribution to improving the atmosphere at SF State has been the establishment of an outstanding Jewish Studies Department, including the endowment of a chair in Israel Studies.
