Tommy takes a look back at the first recording of the popular Reviews on the Run segment from Electric Playground. Nice to see the show has evolved significantly since then, and Victor used to give out 10s back then too.

  • I love how they review them so quickly. Just bam bam bam and they reviewd 10 games. I also love how Tommy always gives random decimal numbers, like 9.6, what the hell is that?

  • why can't we get this show here in america?

  • @Luigi84289 dude, i think your commenting to the wrong person

  • @BlueBlazer89 Talking about the same thing man apparently you haven't played a PSX though. There's a reason stuff like Doom was not released on N64. It got a version of doom but was incapable of running the original game or it's PC sequels.

  • @Luigi84289 lmao now wtf you talking about ? completely off topic

  • @BlueBlazer89 The differences between the two consoles. N64 could only produce polygons it was a completely 3d console. PSX games would overlay 2d sprites over the polygons in a lot of cases to give them a more finished look or just use sprites like MMX4.

  • @Luigi84289 wtf you talking about ?

  • @simwarn Sprite rendering. N64 was a polygon engine so they couldn't layer sprites over the 3d polygons. PSX had much more crisp rounded graphics.

  • @BlueBlazer89 He's worked on sound for tons of titles including earthworm Jim one of the greatest games of all time and Terminator for Sega CD.

  • @BlueBlazer89 Tommy is the real gamer.

  • Once again Tommy shows his superior sense of taste. Mario 64 the greatest game ever LMAO he probably says that whenever a new mario game comes out. Mario 64 is like the weakest title if you break it down to the gameplay. Take away everything else. You can only play it for short periods without getting bored compared to destroying mario 3 5 times in one day with no whistles.

  • @jamgrieve no thats what made the show great was that vic was more of the pro and tommy was the comedian it was a perfect match, and the fact that they did 1 show a week was great nowadays 5 shows a week is way too much
