  • He seems a happy person who writes his own songs, artists like Lady Gaga, Ke$ha and whatever is on mainstream these days(sorry about my english, im from Brazil)but they don't look happy to me,their songs talk always about the same things, they actually "won't matter" in the near future, but they also have stories to tell and they should do that, instead of thinkig about money and looks, i look at this guy and he's always with a smile on his face, because his songs have meaning to him.

  • Comments should be disabled from this video. There is nothing you can say to this. This is one of those moments where a majority of viewers have got to be saying, "Fuck! I had the same thing happen... I just didn't know how to tell the story!" I'm proud to call every viewer of this A Friend. Because, man... I just gotta say... he's 27-ish...so if I were 5 years younger, at his school, we woulda been friends. I'd've made sure. That sort of thing always drives me wild. Long live Gaslight!

  • yeah man the clash!

  • the guy is my hero. GREETINGS FROM HACKETTSTOWN NEW JERSEY =D

  • Best record store story ever. truly unbelievable! thats so cool that he used to like the offspring, I used to love them when I was 10-13.

  • is this true story? i think so but that is pretty awesome story... it did change his life....

I started liking punk with bodyjar, like in 2006 or something i shared my ipod with my dad at the time i was like into green day and good charlotte, but my dad put not the same on my ipod... hes not a huge punk fan but i guess he liked some of the songs... i just listened to it randomly and i needed more... but that kind of changed me as well or i wouldn't be so interested in music as i am now

  • He likes the Counting Crows, too...(which is cool with me...he has lots of influences)

    Round Here:

She came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand / She said she'd like to meet a boy who looked like Elvis

    High and Lonesome Sound:

Maria came from Nashville with a suitcase in her hand/ I always kinda sorta wished I looked like Elvis

  • About him catching that record ( the first one from The Clash, which he is talking about )
