If the kittens are his he has no reason to kill the kittens :) that is probably why he sniffed them at first and looked at them to make sure they where his. ^_^ it's kind of cute but he does seem to show love to the kittens.

I found myself in tears So so beautiful and touching.I love cats I`m a leo!.Amazing to see a father Tom cat that loving and nurturing!.Male cats are know to kill their young.I had so many cats in my life and only had one tom cat that was so nurturing and fatherly to his young like this one.

@MsCatworshipper No, other males can kill the offspring to get to mate and remove competion, but the father usually helps the mother (in the wild). This is true in mammals, and cats in the wild depend on the male in the flock. There is several examples of the mother dying and the father taking care of the babies (if they are old enough to eat).

oh wow! i always thought it was male instinct to kill newborn kittens, so this is a huge shocker to me, to even see him 'kiss' one of them, wowwowowo,, i just couldn't believe my eyes! good job little mommy, they are beautiful^6

That is one proud dad. I wish my cat had a husband like that. I remember when i was young, i moved for one year and then when i came back i decided to sleep but then my cat came onto my bed holding something on her mouth that i thought was dead rats x_x....but of course it wasnt. My cat actually presented her kittens to me which i later found out from my aunt that my cat was hiding. I really wished my beloved cat had a proud husband instead of scaring me after 7 hrs of travel w/ her kittens :P
