  • @mik Nah, I was a nazi skinhead for over 10 yrs. In my pic you can still see some of my scars(tattoos). My friends robbed banks(Aryan Republic Army)and I know 5-6 who died. We collected guns, were violent and wore hate on our sleeve. We had no chance in hell. No government in over 500 years as deeply rooted as the US has been overthrown by peace or violence. So, no I know from experience violence is not the answer. Remember I said, "I dunno". I just know what we are doing is not working.

  • @Downfurlife So, what is the alternative? Violent revolution? Perhaps we need to form an anarcho-fascist party to force freedom on people. Like when a momma bird kicks the baby bird out of the nest. It either flies, or dies.

  • @mikemat3307 I absolutely hate using 2 boxes for what I am unable to say in one. But given how small the LP's penetration is on a national basis.... Honestly it is a vote wasted(at this point in time). It was like backing Ron Paul - he never had a chance. It is like putting out a 12 alarm fire with a bucket. At present the LP party is too small to matter. The passion and commitment is cool - I get it. It just seems wasted. "Art of War" teaches us to pick and fight only battles we can win.

  • @mikemat3307 "Most Americans Vote To Keep The Other Party Out Of Power". I think while we do this, it somehow makes things(US?) easier to control. Although I do not appreciate republicans or democrats - eventually they all lead to the same shit. I am fairly confident Palin was the worst possible option. Elections are won by small margins. The LP simply does not have market share or penetration - not even niche market. I did all I could to assure Palin was not elected.

  • @Downfurlife The way I see it is, my life's hope and passion is freedom. The two major parties are Socialist, Collectivist, Authoritarian scum. So, I have no choice but to vote and support the LP. Most Americans vote to keep the "other" party out of power. I can't help it if they wish to be slaves. It's like trying to get people to stop eating apple pie and playing baseball. Maybe someday they will come around. It doesn't help that many libertarians are against voting, in the first place.

  • @mikemat3307 None. While my gut kinda tells me before I criticize I should have a meaningful suggestion, I do not believe I am out of line. I am just making obvious observation. Although obvious no one wants to admit them, it is difficult to admit what your life, interest or passions are vested in are failing. As absolute evidence I offer the recent elections :).

  • @Downfurlife Any suggestions?

  • The libertarian party has issue securing 3% of the vote in most areas. As far as I am aware they have never had a serious contender for president and almost always never for any meaningful large state office. Keep pushing that drug of hope & change. I am not saying I disagree with the message. We just need to stop, check and ask ourselves is it working in the slightest? Is the hope the LP pushes any more a reality than it was yesterday?
