"Brutally assaulted"? Come on. Take a look at Polish police using tear gas and what looks like live fire on anarchist kids throwing snowballs. Search YouTube for:

You must be kidding. Nothing here qualifies as brutal assault. Have you ever been in or seen a demo policed by New York or Chicago cops? Take a look at UK crowd control, European, not to mention Egyptian (see vids of recent Gaza convoy stop in Cairo + at border). And think about Iran.

Now look at the scene from 3min22sec. This soldier displays none of the arrogance of the previously mentioned scene. When we see his face it is vulnerable and he does show compassion to the person that has been arrested. It is important to acknowledge this in individual members of the oppressive military forces of Israel. Israeli soldiers who are disturbed by the role they are playing need to know that if they lay down their arms they will be welcomed by those who believe in a just society.

look how these "brave activists" pose for the cameras. The guy who's getting arrested at about 1 minute in puts his hands up just as the photographer takes his picture, as f he wasn't resisting in any way. This is nothing but a glorified photo op.
