Season 2 of Unboxed has now officially started! And this time, Alex has got double the fun!

Attending GameStop(tm)'s midnight launch, he manages to walk away with Batman: Arkham Asylum Collector's Edition for the PS3, with the Joker and Scarecrow maps intact, as well as slipcovers for Dissidia: Final Fantasy!

  • Hey Alex, just a quick question, I noticed that recently you've started buying multiplats for the PS3 rather than the X360 (i.e. Batman, NFS Shift), why is that? I thought almost all PS360 owners bought multiplats exclusively for the 360.

  • Good question actually. I bought Batman on the PS3 because of the Joker content, and NFS Shift because there are a large variety of steering wheels available on the PS3. I purchased The Beatles Rock Band on the 360 since all my instruments are there -- so in other words, it depends on what game it is and what bonuses they have.

  • i took my batarang and i painted the edges a metallic silver and glossed the rest of it, so it looks metal. then i took some red color and made drops of blood on one end. it looks amazing now. as for the journal, i love it.

  • You have a video of it? If you do, post it as a video response and I'll approve it.

  • If by instant fail you mean I got the Joker as a playable character, the Dem Bones and Crime Alley maps, yes - I suppose getting it for the PS3 is an instant fail.

  • @gamesandme your voice looked dubbed

  • pinche gordo in english fucking fat

  • WTF since the collectors edidion was released everyone is complaining about the baterang IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE USED

  • I think this Collector edition is amazing!

  • I sharpened my batarang lol. nice vid.

  • if u know someone who can do it the plastic batarang is a good template to cut your own metal one.

  • is the case for the game a steelbook case ?

  • This is a great idea for a show, but the still camera makes it a bit annoying. Maybe if the camera was over your shoulder, or someone else could film you doing it, it'd be much better. I couldn't get a good look at the batarang :(

    How's the extras DVD?

  • Hard to believe the UK version of Batman Collectors Edition is so watered down compared to the US. im thinking of getting it anyway as i love the game.

  • it seems that the batarang forms a single piece with the stand, so it ins't actually possible to detach the batarang from the stand. i'm okay with that since I will use it only to decorate my shelf, but those who boght this edition solely for the batarang and are dissapointed with the fact of it being of scratched plastic and non-detachable can always use it as a template for a metal, smooth and separate batarang.
