0.o A twin axel? Awsome truck! The only other mine truck I've seen is with a twin axel is the Terex. Are both rears drives or just weight distribution? Mechanical drive? What moter dose it have?

in reply to my own comment, i now work there, driving these trucks, at this same crossing, but it looks almost nothing like it does in this video, the 121 Demag hoe has been moved about 3 , miles east to the stone plant and can be seen from a road along side the mine. the Terex is nick named the T-Rex it is a monster, but we also cross Euclid R85 trucks there from time to time.

@trenchlessman Not always the easiest thing to do if the loader isn't large enough, and you're pushing large rock.
-
needs side boards and a tailgate. try loading in the middle next time

cool vid! cool hearin it downshift up the hill
I worked back in the 60s for KW Dart Truck company in Kansas City (MO). I worked in the Dart division in the body shop. I was a welder and I built the bodies of trucks like this and ones much larger. We build some massive coal haulers. Many were for the Peabody Coal Company.
We also made trucks that went to minds in South Africa.
