A few years ago, I was reading an old newspaper from August 1981, and I remember it listing this movie as being on ABC that night. So this might be that

Also, I liked how KOMO TV 4 in Seattle would often do their station identification with a water or sunset view of Puget Sound or Lake Washington in the background.

I believe this is the Closed Captioning that ABC used in 1981, and The "Star Tunnel" logo ABC used for their movies debuted too.

I associated this ABC Friday Night Movie with scary stuff. They always had horror movies, it seemed :P Such cheery music, too.

However, the dialogue that Shirley MacLaine speaks in the clip is atrocious....but that is the writer's fault. lol
