Palm pre review.

Tommy and I reviewing palm pre. Before leaving stupid Fanboy comments read on........I own an iphone 3gs, I love it, and have always wanted something that had this kind of ability. So im on the look out for something that improves on the tech. Im not a palm pre basher, I gave it a fair chance, and it failed. Its not me being partial to the iphone, I like things that work, and work well. the palm just does'nt. It does a lot of stuff, but is poorly made, feels cheap, and works slow and laggy. I know a lot of you dont like the truth, but thats the truth, hurts sometimes. so say what you like, but I dont appreciate ignorance. Thanks.

thats bullshit i have a palm and it lag's like a motherfucker i had the iphone and i never had problems with it this shit its always turning off when you shut it down and it sucks its my third one in 4 months it sucks

Find someone with a pre and try theirs.. the demo made me not like it either. It's sad they scare people off with the demo loaded phones.

I can run 12+ apps while playing music and surfing the web with no lag.

I like my pre because I can type memos while streaming Pandora while using the Navigation app.

Both phones have features for different people. The iPhone is a great entertainment device, but for networking & people who need to do multiple things @ once the Pre would be ideal for them. As a tech junkie you should know that speed on browsing depends on your area. Sprint kicks ass in mines but AT&T kicks ass in the neighboring city. So people who buy phones should always check that out first; their coverage area. With that said, enjoy your iPhone. It's good that we all have choices! [=

..good, I bought it [with their ridiculous deposit & everything] & tested it out. The actual feel of the phone is better, but performance-wise it's not better or worse than the Pre. First off, Pre is 1st generation and 3GS isn't. Second I can't compare a phone that only let's me run one app at a time to another who let's me run others. So, the Pre is more for me. I just don't think you should say that it's a bad phone for everyone because it isn't.

First off, I respect your review & choice. I would like to mention that almost all phones as demos are stores do not do actual phones any justice. When I went to test the Pre @ the store, I couldn't even tap on the login link @ livejournal to get signed in. Considering I use LJ religiously - this was an issue. When I tested the iPhone 3GS at the store - it also performed terribly, switched me from English to Chinese - and was slow as a snail. However, since I know demo phones are not [cont]
