Head off on a journey of discovery with TVs Judy Bailey to learn about the wonderful and complex web of life in Aucklands harbours and estuaries.

Relying on clean water, these unique marine ecosystems are under threat.

Stormwater run off containing contaminants from cars, building materials and urban activities is heading straight down kerbside drains and into our harbours and estuaries, and sediment from land cleared for development or deforested is silting them up.

While the ARC and many other councils, community groups and individuals are working hard to reverse this, its up to us all to learn how we can protect our great blue backyard.
