@AndreDevecserii Also, some tangaras are getting a new look, like the newer trains
-
And Tangara's in Melbourne (known as the 4D in Melbourne) was an absolute fail, yet alone that they scrapped the Melbourne Version of the Tangara.
-
what a load of crap. Try the Japanese system try any system this is rubbish
-
Man I miss Sydney trains. The Rolling Stock in Melbourne is just awful - single deck, dirty, the majority of the seats face other passengers. You have no choice but to suck it up and look at your knees to avoid eye contact with the passenger across from you. Most stations in Melbourne are unstaffed and the announcements are just useless. The Sydney network is light years ahead. They pay the price for privatisation down here in Vic.

Because they're being suburbanised with the introduction of new H sets, more commonly known as OSCARs, which will run the outer suburban services to Wyong and Thirroul but also the interurban services to Kiama and Port Kembla.
-
Can Then You Explain why G Set Are also run on the Bankstown Line And East hill and airport line
-
its unusual to wait that long.. haha
-
It is intercity because it goes away from the suburbamn area so it is called intercity
-
Black trains are rare
y does it stop for so long?

It stops for so long because it was ahead of timetable schedule, most Cityrail timetables have built in time for delays so when the amazing happens and all goes smoothly they will pause for some time at the next station.

lol, in England trains are not timetabled for dlays and usally only stop for a minute/30 secons at stations, that train stopped for over a minute and a half lol

Yes, BTW that train is a long(medium)distance train, so it isn't quite as bad as 1 min 30s for say the London Underground, however it is a shocking indictment on the state of NSW's rail infrastructure that such pessimistic timetables are required. As for English trains, I'm about to find out, I'll be over there for most of July with a Britrail pass.

Medium distance? I thought the G Tangaras were run on outer-suburban services (Outer Suburban Tangara). Isn't it CountryLink who runs regional trains?
The outer-suburban services are:
Western Line: Extended from Emu Plains to Springwood
North Shore: Extended from Berowra to Wyong
East Suburbs and Illawara Line: Extended from Waterfall to Thirroul or sometimes even Port Kembla.
What kind of idiots work on CityRail and call these intercity? Hell, more like a subway if you ask me.

Well in sme countries if you travelled as far as Port Kembla to Central you would be in another country.
