This was done in the 80s jackass. Just because it does not have all the CGI shit you want in it does not mean it is bad

They could have and should have used and edited the clips better. Seriously. It's a completely random assortment of snippets stuck together awkwardly and it's difficult to watch.
If I had the time I'd use these exact same clips and make an awesome (or at least better) trailer that shows the dark style.

The trailer is great. No voice over. No score. At the time, when you mentioned Batman people thought of Adam West. And people were doubtful about Keaton as Batman. This simple showcase of awesome scenes from the film tells you how dark it is, properly shows you the style. And the way it ends on that shot of Keaton as a bleeding, bruised Batman is fucking awesome!!

When I saw this, I couldn't believe that it was a trailer. I thought it was a preview for the video.

Well, on the bright side, the movie was better than the preview. How often is it the other way around these days?

I respect your opinion but I do not agree with you. After having seen all the Batman movies again, my opinion is that Bale and Ledger still beat all the other actors that have played those roles. Also, while I love comic books the movies interpretations will always stand alone in a different category.

I thought Bale was really rubbish. Ledger was good but he wasn't The Joker from the comics.
