Nice greenhouse.
You made it look easy to build.

@HomesteadAcres wow i cant even imagine pvc being more expensive than wood.10' piece is $1 here. wood and glass are way more appealing than icky plastic though any day,and recycled even more so! i to just came into a few dozen windows i'll use for cold-frames...a beekeeper friend has a hoop-house pipe bender, makes a 10' radius (so 20' at the ground!) cant wait to get that made, ill go with metal conduit, when $ allows.!

air circulation thats a good one coming through one window and going out through the other

Yeh the chop saw/miter saw is super useful around the house

Where are you located? I live in Bend,or and am thinking of building a greenhouse.

i thought the amish dont use electricity? heh nice job Jebediah ;), fine looking greenhouse. great job recyclin too' .
what made you go with a wood/glass type rather than a cheap DIY hoop house style?

@tribalwind The PVC pipe to make the hoop houses is really expensive in our area. We had the windows for free already so it was much cheaper to just buy some lumber to frame it in! :-)

Loved the salvage! How would I go about finding, old, windows for salvage?
I have a hook up on salvaged 2 X 4's.... Thanks for posting.

@cwaj Sorry for the late reply, I don't think YouTube sent me a comment note. :( We got some of ours from a friend who was upgrading their homes windows. Also dh found some in the burnable section at the dump. Luckily they hadn't been broken when someone left them there.
You could try posting on freecycle to that might work!

Do you guys have to get building permits for new buildings? We are regulated to death with such things where we are. If we put up a new shed we either put it on skids (though we plan on never moving it) or go with a fabric walled building from Farmtec (our hayshed for example) to avoid having to pay to pull a building permit.
I want one of those chop saws!! That thing looks handier than heck.
Oh no -- a new hat. . . A ,moment of reverant silence for the old hat's passing please.

No we don't need permits for shed type things under 100 sq.
Yes dh old hat has been added to his collection lol. I think he's on his 4th straw hat now. :-p
