ok first off there is a huge difference between pipe and tube. Pipe is measured by inside diameter (ID) because things flow through it. Tube is measured by outside diameter (OD) this being said 1" pipe and 1" tube are totally different sizes. Second, the reason the "tube" twists is because the rollers need to be shimmed all the way to one side or the other. If the rollers are allowed to shift back and forth it will twist. Even with shims it still will twist slightly.

one major problem, the pipe is twisted so that one goes in the scrap pile, soz!!!
