J-Team Production "Creatively Mine" was the project coordinator to contact different schools and interview with the different innovation. And i need to arrange the student to come for recording too. Still remember one day we shoot about 3 to 4 episodes, rushing like mad. On top of that there was another some idea part in the episode - "creative idea" which promote recycling of used material. I was being interviewed by using the egg contained and turn it into studio sound proof material.
1. Get Egg Containers from your Mum, Aunt, and you can ask some restaurant to keep it for you. - Cheap and Easy.
2. Design the place u want to paste the Egg containers and measurement as well.
3. Apply Glue or Silicon at the back of the egg containers. Paste and hold till it hold it position.
4. You can paste the "no colour" one as base support, and paste the colour one on top of it to create colourful Enviroment.
Now you can sing, play music instrument or shout ... in your own room.

  • I've been speaking the acoustic engineers. the answer to the question about eggcrates is. the only effect it has is to make the walls unparallel, wich reduces echo. It does not absorb sound, it's only thick paper.

it is very flammable, so it's NOT recommended!!!

  • i just saw the video and went to get an egg carton to look at and there was a huge ass bug in it that scared the shit out of me so i sprayed stuff on it and got it all over the table now i have to clean it up, thanks a lot

  • thats cushion under the carpet is the cheap and best way

  • @IndigenousEmcee yeah that's your own fault not his, learn to take responsibility.

  • is this legit?

  • useless...

  • @wolfeman323232 you answered your own question in the first line

  • couldn't understand what they said. i got enough cartons to touch my ceiling but how many layers does it take?

  • @clumpft actually You can! You should build some DIY basstraps (how-tos are available on youtube), and place them into corners of the room.. And then you could buy some foam pads which you could place on your walls. You don't need to many of them. An other alternative would be to buy some thick curtains. Curtains aborb high frequencies very well.. It will not give you a professional result, but if you're professional about this i'm sure you have the resources to buy real insulating solutions.
