It's not as bad as I thought with the uptempo beat, but still perfer Tamia! (Sorry Mica and Jennifer...)
-
@1986Nikz Actually, it was originally performed by Mica Parris. I think Mica may have written it too.

Jennifer is an amazing artist, just as most of her songs are made for her and no one can sing it over and song as great as her . this song is originally made for Tamia sorry.....
-
Not sure how I feel about this version..Mica originated this and set the bar fairly high with her sultry, rich and mature voice..Tamia did a nice job..this was nice but I would not play it out like I did the Mica Paris and Tamia versions way back when..

i dont like it

lord knows I luv jennifer but not this remake. The music is throwing me off. Don't care the uptempo beat. It takes the emotion and depth outta of the song. To me Tamia's version set the standard and it was somewhat faithful to the original. Tamia didn't just sing the song, she seduced and romanced the hell out of it in addition to giving an innocent, dreamlike quality. She accomplished with a whisper what couldn't be accomplished with a yell.

This song isn't supposed to be an uptempo song. Sorry Jhud, FAIL. Leave it to tamia

TAMIA HAS GOT NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. AS GOOD AS JENNIFER IS IT'S STILL TAMIA'S SONG
Tamia original sung it, also produced by Quincy. Original was slower and more sensual. Both versions are good though, first one was just as long.

@hotin09 that is incorrect, the original was done by Mica Paris. Tamia's version was a cover!
