Longest grave in the world!

The tomb of Nabi Imran (or Joachim; Arabic: عمران ) supposed to be the Father of Mary, mother of Jesus Christ (Aramaic, Hebrew: מרים, Maryām Miriam Arabic:مريم, Maryam).

The grave is around 40 feet long. Arguments vary as to why the grave is so long. Some believe the Prophet was really that tall(!), while others say that the exact location of the original grave was not exactly known, so the newer monument was built all along the approximate area that the old grave is likely to be in.

Location: Salalah, Dhofar province, south of Oman (Sultanate of Oman).

The long tomb represents the high spiritual station(maqam) that he had achieved. It has nothing with his real height. It is symbolic and basically tells people that he was very pious. Wallahualam. Only God knows best.
