Jim Renacci participated in a debate in the 16-OH congressional before the May 4th 2010 primary. A series of questions were answered about his positions on various issues. These videos are now on YouTube as reference to the positions Renacci took as a candidate. Voters can used these videos to measure his performance in office after he is sworn in Jan. 2010.

The Fair Tax replaces the federal income tax, gift tax, estate tax, capital gains tax, alternative minimum tax, Social Security and Medicare taxes and self-employment taxes with a 23 percent national consumption tax.

Any politician or political group who claims or implies that the Fair Tax adds a 23 percent national consumption tax on top of all the other taxes listed above is either lying to you or is ignorant of the facts. This lie is already being told in ads by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees union on behalf of Democratic Rep. John Boccieri in Ohio's 16th Congressional District. Bioccieri lost the election to Jim Renacci.

Our new congressman for the 16th congressional district in Ohio, Jim Renacci, said he supported the FairTax during the primary debates.

  • Proof Fairtax is a giant NEW tax --- but they hide this in their fine print: Check out their OWN book, written by their OWN leader.

"Under our plan, all city and state goverments will pay to the federal government a tax on all their spending -- on all their purchases, and on anything they pay for, including labor (wages)."

Fairtax -The Truth. Answering the Critics. Page 138, by Neal Boortz.

  • See the Presidents Tax Panel on Fairtax, from 2005. It shows a national sales tax would be 59% or more. Google it.

See Alan Buckley, Libertarian and CPA, and tax attorney. See him show what utter nonsense Fairtax is - because Fairtax pretends to tax the government.

Fairtax sounds great -- till you see their fine print that pretends to tax ALL city governments, ALL state governments, a massive new tax.

  • Democrats hate the FairTax. It keeps them from waging class warfare.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney - Hey Mark. You back getting your ass whipped again? If you want, I can join in here and make you look like an imbecile again. Let me know.

How's the paranoid schizophrenia? Don't forget to take those pills!

  • @dtvgmedia wrong dumb fuck. See the CPA study of this plan retard.

See the CPA study which showed the actual tax rate would be 59%.

Fairtax of 22% would cover INCOME tax alone (with major problems). But not any other taxes.

To cover all the other taxes (Fairtax claims to replace them all) you would need 59%

    And Fairtax knows it.

  • @mr Itchy feet, I am sure as a CPA hes well aware that governments pay the cost of income, payroll, corporate income, capital gains, and other taxes embedded in every purchase and government employees payroll

You on the other hand need to follow your DR. recommendations and take your ritalin and other medications including the one for your itchy feet. Maybe then you can focus long enough to learn a thing or 2 from a CPA

  • Jim should study the "fine print" in Fairtax. He should read this from "Fairtax The Truth -- Answering the Critics, page 138

" Under our plan, all city and state goverments will pay to the federal government a tax on all their spending -- on all their purchases, and on anything they pay for, including labor (wages) and services."

City and state government would have to pay massive taxes. Does he realize this?

And why did Fairtax hide this in their fine print?
