"Sammy the Salmon" was made by high school students participating in Climate Quest at Western Washington University during the summer of 2008. Participants studied present and future effects of global warming on the Nooksack River watershed and bioregion, while documenting and sharing their learning experience and perspective through film.
Climate Quest is a national educational network of programs that bring together high school students, college students and college instructors to comprehensively study the climate crisis.

Great video. We were recently up at the Navarro River in Philo, CA. The operations manager for one of the wineries told us he had seen a lot more salmon egg nests this year then in the past - maybe things are getting better in some areas. Videos like this help enlighten us - thanks
