Mrs.J: Joe, maybe you should go on and check on Demi, she's been in your room for a long time now.
Joe: okay.
He gets up and goes to his room. He saw Demi sobbing while she was changing Adam's diaper. Joe closed the door behind him and went over to Demi. When she saw him, she looked up at him and sobbed some more. Joe pulled her against him and let her cry in his chest. She was warm and she was shaking. She sobbed more and more. A few minutes pass, and she looks up at him with her wet eyes filled with tears.
demi: i love you so much, Joe.
That was all she said before she buried her face back into his shirt. Joe was surprised but just held her close. He kept her close, and didnt say a word, but the same words she had said to him a minute ago. I love you, I love you, Demi, he thought. He looked out the window and saw lightning. It was raining. Then she looked up at him again.
demi: i miss her, joe.
joe: we all do.
demi: can we- can you just take me home then stay with me?
joe: sure. i'll get the kids' stuff.
A Demi's house, 20 minutes later.
Demi: i'm gonna go take a hot shower. *she starts her way upstairs*
joe: Take your time, hun. I'll start feeding the kids.
Demi got to the bathroom and started the water. She felt sick, like she wanted to throw up or something. She felt alone, but course she wasnt. She had Joe, and they had each other. She undressed herself and got into the shower. She loved taking showers like this. The water felt great and plus, it was raining and so it was cold outisde. She rubbed a little shampoo into her hair and let it wash. After a few minutes, she went to her room and put fresh clothes on. Then, she saw the exact same picture of them at the beach on her bedside table. She didnt know it was there, she forgot. Now, she held back tears and combed her hair. She walked downstairs and saw that Joe was sitting on the couch with Rosie and Adam on either side. They were watching Barney, and episode with her and Selena in it. Ha Ha Very Funny, Joe, she thought. She put Rosie on her lap and sat next to Joe and he put his arm around her, and pulled her close to him.
joe: You okay?
demi: i am now. Why are you watching this?
joe: *a smile crosses his face* i wanted to show Rosie and Adam that you were wonderful even when you were young.
demi: *she smiles* did you feed them?
joe: yup. all done. They were hungry.
demi: did i tell you that they turn 1 in 2 weeks.
joe: really? why didnt you tell me? we should've planned a big party.
demi: i know, but i dont know if we should.
joe: first birthdays are really a big deal.
demi: i know. but i was just thinking about, like, a small gathering. a simple party.
joe: *shruggs* okay. if you want a simple party, the a simple party if what you'll get.
demi: you're the best.
joe: i know, *They both laugh*
The doorbell rings.
joe: i'll get it.
Joe gets up and goes towards the door. When he opens it, there stands Selena with a plate of brownies in her hand. She bakes nonstop when she's sad.
sel: umm...hi Joe.
joe: hey Sel. *he looks at the plate in her hands*
sel: i baked these for you guys. *she gives him the plate*
joe: oh, thanks. Well, you should come in and have some with us.
sel: you sure?
joe: yeah, *he leans in closer* or mostly because Demi needs you, well you two need each other.,
sel: okay. *she smiles and walks in*
When Selena reached the living room and saw Demi with more tears in her eyes, she couldnt help herself. Seeing Demi gave her the urge to cry, too, so she wiped them away and went towards her. Demi got up and hugged her and sobbed. They both did.
demi: i'm so sorry, Selena.
sel: you're sorry? i should be the one apologizing.
demi: *she continues to sob* What are we gonna do without her?
sel: *she shruggs and hugs her tighter*
Joe just stands there, eating a brownie.
That night. Selena went home after having a few brownies with them. Now, she was in her room watching a movie, anything to get her mind off of what was happening with her. First, she lost Nick. Now she lost Ashley. Then, earlier today, she lost Taylor. It didnt really work out between them. Feelings change. Who else could she possibly lose?

He got out of his car and checked his hair in the car's mirror. He was really nervous. I hope this works, he thought. Then he stepped onto the porch with a rose in one hand. He wondered if he had gotten too dressed up. What is she didnt wanna go? What if she had plans already? Then without a doubt, he rang Selena's doorbell.......
1) Who is at Selena's door?
2) Should Selena go with him (whoever's at the door)?
3) What should they do for the twins' birthday?
4) What did you honestly think?
