Police can hold you for up to 48hrs without charges or an arrest. So he would be under arrest for something. What are the voilations he was jailed for?

awesome.
i had my doubts about some of these tactics perhaps being ineffective but ive been proven wrong. i love what u guys are doing, keep it up!
that's the great thing about the liberty movement; it's true to itself. there are so many diverse tactics used that those which are effective will come to prominence. ahh free and open experimentation....that is our strength.

what the court is doing is a form of soft punishment and that is illegal. You must stand trial before you can then be punished if you are found guilty. They hope that if they can make this man suffer that it will keep other people from doing the same thing. They know they cant give him any real jail time for his standing up for his rights. Its the same as if a cop would take a person behind a building and work them over. Its to "teach" that person a lesson. This is illegal.

"You got your mind right, Sam?"
Why should I move to New Hampshire? I've got plenty of bad sheriffs and judges right here in Sonoma County, California.

Actually I know of several people who have gone 40 days without food.
I have fasted three weeks without health problems.
Of course you have to keep drinking water and if you take broth and/or milk you can extent this to months.
Bobby Sands lasted on just water for 66 days in a Northern Irish jail cell before he died for his cause. He was just 27 when he died.
Hopefully Sam will find freedom quicker that Bobby Sands found his.

This human being should be left go, this is how the crimes of humanity start, most crimes to humanity happen with the legal system compeltely in tact, I wonder how many millions after him the state will kill and/or torture next.

4 weeks without food
Thats a long time... too long. You may have to take action if the 'authorities' don't.
