    FLLFFL(Katana) V.s D(Arrow)

  • the arrows not at full speed blah blah blah, if you listened the guy says its a test of focus not weather he can not get hit by an arrow

  • @bumrushjoe she doesn't know shoot, just cook

  • "Arrow is too slow" blablabla... Shut the HELL up idiots. The video is slow-motion as you can easily see by the other slow movements in the environment during the scene, and theres NO REASON to shoot him an arrow at full speed, for the sake of safetyness... this is just training, not a Playstation samurai game.

  • Of course there are many other factors that control the speed and sheer power of an arrow, but pound for pound the English warbow makes a mockery of many other bows.

That said, 1/4 draw or not, I bet those arrows shown above would be rather painful if they did hit. It doesn't take that much force behind a narrow point to punch a hole in someone. I wouldn't be surprised if a mistake here put daddy in the hospital or even morgue if he got it in the throat or something.

  • While I'm no expert and can't back this up with any real information, I've been told that Japanese warbows fire pretty much the slowest arrows actually used in combat.

One short and sweet quote went like this: "Japan, home of the slowest military bow. Japan, also home of many arrow cutting legends. Coincidence? I think not."

English warbows were generally between 120 and 150 pound pull. Never heard of any other bow (excluding crossbows) matching that.

  • That is a shitty test of the bow you can clearly see the women didn't fully draw back her bow. She drew her bow 1/4 making the bow slow. Fail test

  • @bumrushjoe Give it a rest, will ya?

  • @bumrushjoe that's what i was thinking
