I wish these chics songs were remixed. Just the bass and drums are fucking awsome, then some sick 16th notes on a guitar. and just vocals. and maybe the occasional burst of violin and cello. Cause honestly chic has all these amazing basslines but there masked by corneyness, bad synthesis, too much garbage.

Those tracks should have been cut simple and dirty so u could actually fall in love with that bassline

Yeah you're playing it very clearly which is good, you're not fumbling the wrong notes, however it's not being played 'properly', as in with no jive, and in playing the bass it is essential, to add your artistic style, slapping and plucking harder
