If you immerse yourselves in these things, you will gain a much broader and deeper understanding of the Word, and come to appreciate just HOW MUCH these books are referred in the Bible. The Book of Enoch (also 1 Enoch) is ascribed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah and son of Jared. While this book today is non-canonical in most Christian churches, it was explicitly quoted in the New Testament (Letter of Jude 1:14-15) and by many of the early Church Fathers. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church to this day regards it to be canonical. It is wholly extant only in the Ge'ez language, with Aramaic fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and a few Greek and Latin fragments. It is argued that ALL the writers of the New Testament were familiar with it and were influenced by it in thought and diction. • Serious questions: Your text at the opening of this video says "WE can force the Lord's coming." If everything has a place and season and everything is in its place and season, then why would we want to "force" ANYTHING. That's almost like saying God's providence alone is not enough and we can appoint the time of God's will come to pass. There is a reason that Jesus has not returned. Meaning possibly all those that must be sealed are not. Please expound?

  • @ChildOTheCloth Don't get me wrong, but you are misquoting me and then condemning me based on your misunderstanding. I said we can "force the ISSUE." This is with regard to men. If we force the issue with men, then we will be causing men to justify their position against Jude and the other NT writings. Peter is the one who says that we can 'speed the Lord's coming." (2 Pet 3:12.)

  • @ChildOTheCloth I am sorry that you think that my saying is "arrogant." I was only agreeing with Peter. I don't believe that agreeing with Jude and Peter is sacrilege. As a matter of fact, I believe that negating Jude and Peter is sacrilege, which is what the Church did and continues to do to this day.

  • I think it's interesting that Enoch mentions the "tongues of fire." We see this at Pentecost

3They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. (Acts 2)

I'm not sure that this is the metaphor to be conveyed here, but it's something to keep in mind as these fire tongues are mentioned in later parts. They also seem to be connected with cherubim

  • @serlot56 Very interesting observation! These are the kind of clues that lead to higher meanings. The "tongues of fire" are probably the words of judgment that those who are inspired by the Holy Spirit that overcome the world through the blood of the lamb and the Word of their Testimony.

  • @DaTruthsHere how is the bible a lie?

  • You are God's child :) It is good!

  • 3 And God said, Let there be light- understanding: and there was light- understanding.

4 And God saw the light (understanding), that it was good (the now Concealed Good): and God divided the light (understanding) from the darkness (obscurity, ignorance.)

  • 2 And the abode (memory) of departed spirits was without form, and void (empty); and darkness (obscurity) was upon, in front of, to the front of, in the presence of the exceedingly mysterious, that which is far off. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face, in the presence of the waters, the course set, the wasted semen springing forth.

  • Yes I understand, Genesis 1

1 To start with, at the head of the year, eh-lo-HIYM shaped and fashioned the heights and elevations, the thoughts and intelligence of the abode (memory) of the departed spirits, preparing a place for them in the Father's house which is life everlasting to rein with Christ an eternal inheritance a deliverance from all evils.

  • bible is a lie

  • It's good that you changed the wording! Thanks for the clarification!

  • SINCERELY, I'm just trying to see your logic as it applies to the Word of God. I am LQQKing forward to your response, as this is a serious issue that needs to be clarified. Thank you.
