Nuclear Power, a danger to our children

i dont thinks its the fault of "leftists", i am a believer in left wing politics, but being interested in science i am educated well enough to know that nuclear power is the only sencible choice. maybe "leftist" in america are worse than they are here.. who knows....

OK, I must have missed this one when it came out. I'm watching it now to get caught up with your newest vids. I thought your analysis was excellent! More importantly though, I really liked what you did at the end. I think that little things like that are very important to the process of getting through to people that have not come to their conclusions logically, but instead are emotionally involved with their position

I think the main reason leftists oppose nuclear is because they conflate it with nuclear bombs. They assume that the word "nuclear" must mean evil and dangerous.

What these leftists seem to forget is that MANY Western European nations, which tend to be liberal, have LOTS of nuclear power!! Obviously even liberals in Europe see how good it is. In fact, many European nations ALSO have things like school choice, which is still a long way from becoming the norm in the US.

Nuclear power just makes sense. I have NEVER been opposed to it. All the opponents' arguments are total bullshit. There's no good reason to oppose nuclear! The only close arguments to opposing it are a) nuclear waste and b) CO2 emitted in production and transfer of new plant resources.

Now, I'm sure we can find a safe place to store the waste. That's no problem. B is just silly! So what if some extra CO2 is emitted transporting materials. It'll be offset by the plants eventually.

I'm a "leftist" an a "liberal", but i say nuclear power FTW. Also when you're talking about "manipulative demagogues" and people who "don't know shit about nuclear power", you include a picture of Al Franken, who supports nuclear power as a solution to climate change.

Nuclear power is incredibly safe. I just did an essay saying it is fine to use as it is cheap to build, takes away co2, never killed anyone in all its history and i got good marks. it is definatly the way forward we need nuclear power. it will save people. we need to do lots. i got it right. yusssss. A+
