The Truth about GM and Organic Foods

What do you think of biotechnology in our food? Is it safe? Are you sure?

Why aren't we allowed to know, but every other country is?

GM foods account for about 70% of what we buy in stores, but we'll never know, because it is actually illegal in the United States to label genetically modified foods as such.

Why?!

I can't and won't afford to buy "special, fancy" organic products, and it's not fair that I can't just know what I'm buying in the regular grocery section.

Actually, voluntary labeling of GMOs is legal. Check it out. usda.gov

If we want to eat non-GMOs, we can just buy foods with the organic label -- now US or European.

I totally feel you. Damn this was back in 2010! I had no idea then. Some things have changed since then. Organic has become more popular because more consumers are becoming aware. All food should been grown organically though. I too thought it may be a ploy until I become aware of this past year after watching a documentary free online called Ethos hosted by Woody Harrelson. I just uploaded a video of me asking people to sign the petition to label GMOs at the Just Label It website.

Balls to GMO food, but is organic food really to be trusted. I am getting organic food soon. GMO IS EVIL AND IS DESIGNED TO GENETICALLY MODIFY HUMANS. GOVERNMENT IS AGAINST US YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! money money money. this is why. other wise they would care that it hurts us. But you know. it's more important who gets made fun of on the internet, than being posioned by our food. and for the record, angry militant vegans don't believe GMO everythings is why everyone is sick. just "you are a cow, that is why you have cancer, because you ate cows. we never get sick"
