This is the unaired version of "In Memoriam" featuring Hershel's Barnageddon. This video segment is part of the Talking Dead show hosted by Chris Hardwick on AMC.

WARNING: Major Spoiler for the 2nd season of The Walking Dead!

"In Memoriam" is a tribute to the walkers (zombies) that get executed in each episode of The Walking Dead.

This extended, fanboy cut, really shows off how complex the characters and situations are in The Walking Dead and doubles as a season recap of events that lead up to the shocking midseason climax involving Hershel's barn and Sophia's return.

Ultimately, this version of "In Memoriam" didn't air because it deviated from the light-hearted tone of the show and it was simply too long. (I got carried away editing a masterpiece out of the massacre.) But it's perfect for Youtube, so here it is for all you fanboys to watch!

@TheYesWinston tru but shane did it the wrong way what if when he opened that door too many walkers came out and they ran out of bullets. then what would they do? plus all those gun shots echoed through the forest surrounding where the farm house zomies were already walking through the forest and chances are their coming to that spot. Hershal was wrong but shane made it worse. he put the whole group at risk cause he only thinks of himself.

1 thing i dont get sophia had straight hair and then when shes a zombie, It looked like her hair was curled by someone when she was a zombie...i like it haha

wow i was hoping sophia would have survived but in a way her death really kicks everything up a notch. its going to be something to change the foundation of the group. i think the group is going to split up & new people can now join the show now. i think they should take over the farm & kill Herschel & anyone of his group that try to resist once they take over the farm they should dig giant ditches all around the buildings the make them safe until the sheriffs wife has the baby
