I read and review L Ron Hubbard's "Self Analysis" so you don't have to.

If you'd like to suggest a video for future episodes of Artemis Takes 1 for the Team, please send me a personal message. Don't leave a comment because I will forget.

The first person from the US to message me and request my copy of Self-Analysis will receive it.

  • If you really want a good laugh read Hubbards book called Scientology a history of man.

  • I'm not in any real hurry to read anything else by this guy for a while. Maybe if I find my copy of Dianetics I'll do a review of that but otherwise I'm going to avoid Hubbard like the plague. He's a trip though. It's amazing to me that some people believe this bullshit.

  • After fifteen minutes of doing these mental exercises with an open mind, as sceptical as I was,,,I suddenly recalled my phone number when I was in third grade, the phone number that changed during the summer between third and fourth grades, I'm now mid forties.....scary..Hubbard's a psycho maybe, but this worked for me on many levels besides the phone number example.

  • Check out Chapter 7 of Bare-faced Messiah, the chapter is called "Black Magic and Betty" I think.

  • Nevermind, I found it. Thanks for telling me about it. I'll have to check it out. :)

  • Where? Google books?

  • I've heard he was friends with Aleister Crowley...or at least met him at some point.

  • The book is online.

  • Yes, if you're interested in what kind of person L. Ron was.

    He was a wild dude.

  • No I have not. This is the first book I've ever read by or about Scientology. Is it something you'd recommend?
