Same sex marriages started at 5:01pm on monday, June 16th 2008 in San Francisco.
This is some footage of the event including pro-gay marriage and anti-gay marriage protestors.
Around 3:00 in the video, someone collapses in the crowd and cops and medics do CPR on him...hope he made it
i found out two days later that the man lived!!
