Hidalgoswe, your comment seven months ago was painfully idiotic. The music and musicians WERE better then. They put a premium in content, originality, and talent ...as opposed to now, where its all about imitation, fashion, sex, and cash. It leaves me cold. Maybe, just maybe it HAS all been done. We don't need Buble and whatnot. And as far as your Jayzee comment, you can keep your pimp-tunes .

I have listened to Oscar Brown Jr''s, Ricky Lee Jones version, however Mel Torme has his own touch.

Mel Tormé is unstoppably cool.

This is amazing.

Now I know who Kurt Elling has been ripping off for the last 15 years.

People seriously have to stop comparing this era's music with today's, especially when using terms such as cooler, better or worse. First of all, the contexts are too different, secondly the pop music history is one history and all these musicians are all somehow linked together. I think Mel Torme is cool. I'd say Jay-Z too is cool. But in different ways.

great music,
great performance!
thanks for sharing :D

people think jay z, beyonce and kanye are cool these days...Thats because theres no one making music like this to completely obliterate their chances. He's so cool! I love started at 1:38 he just stares right into the camera, snapping, singing his heart out! Argh so cool!
